William D. Hoard - "Father of American Dairying"
William D. Hoard served as Governor of Wisconsin from 1988-1991. His influence in creating the Wisconsin dairy industry earned him the distinction of being named "Wisconsin's Most Distinguished Citizen" in 1915, according to the Wisconsin Historical Society.
