The Furst-McNess Company continues to grow its strong nutritional services into the area’s dairy market as they announce the hiring of Dr. John Marks, DVM, of North Freedom.

Marks brings extensive experience in the dairy industry. His veterinary work has included years spent in dairy and large animal practice in Wisconsin and as a senior veterinarian with the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection. He holds a bachelor’s degree and doctorate degree in veterinary medicine from UW-Madison. In recent years, Marks has worked as an independent dairy consultant. Along with providing nutrition services, he has extensive experience in animal health and milk quality issues and in analyzing herd performance. He will continue to work with his existing clients and future customers, and will be available to assist other members of the Furst-McNess Company field staff with customer challenges in any of these areas.
