Livestock Facility Siting Review Board to Meet Nov. 21
Members of the Livestock Facility Siting Review Board (LFSRB) will meet at 10 a.m. on Nov. 21 in board room 106 of the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection in Madison.
Two siting cases are on the board’s morning agenda.
In the Larson Acres, Inc. v. Town of Magnolia, Docket No. 07-L-01, Cheryl Daniels, LFSRB attorney, will give the board an update on this case that is currently in the circuit court.
LFSRB Chair Jim Holte will lead the board in its discussion of the status of the Van Dyke v. Racine County, Docket No. 08-L-02 case.
Issues involving this case include the review process, identification of issues on appeal, the board discussion of the case and then the LFSRB decision.
The board is also expected to set the date for the LFSRB signoff of its final written decision in this case.
At 11:45 a.m., the board is expected to break for lunch with further discussion, if needed, on the Van Dyke case continuing at 12:30 p.m. when the meeting resumes.
Before its scheduled 2:45 p.m. adjournment the board is expected to set Dec. 19 as its next meeting date and also decide on future agenda items.
