Bayer Sweeps Spring Preview Beef Show
Calli Bayer, Ringle, swept the Wisconsin Livestock Breeders Association Spring Preview Beef Show June 7 and 8 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Jefferson by showing the Supreme Champion Female and Grand Champion Steer.
Bayer’s Champion Owned Angus heifer and Champion Crossbred steer prevailed over the 100-plus exhibitors and 165 head of cattle to win the show.
Leading the Reserve Supreme Champion Female was Nicole Starr, Manawa, with her Champion Owned Hereford heifer. The Reserve Champion Steer was the Reserve Champion crossbred exhibited by Kelsi Retallick, Glen Haven.
